"They treat you like family" is not just a casual reflection on our experience, it is exactly how we felt. EVERYTHING was considered, and executed, riht down to filling the gas tank. Jim helped us walk through how the van would feel and function with our son's wheelchair, and gave options that make loading and unloading easy and safe. Their concern does not end there; we were given phone numbers, copies of our paperwork, and encouragement to call with questions and service needs. About 1 month ago I took my handicapped van to a Touchless car wash. It put the soap on then the wax on and when the rinse cycle started the ramp door opened. Idid not get there fast enough to close the door and I got soaked so did the inside of the van. i’ve been taking my van to Mobility Works in Villa Park for 20 years. I took it in there and they told me they have no idea why it did what it did they couldn’t get it to duplicate The problem. so I brought it home since then, if I closed the hood, the ramp door would employ. If I opened the driver‘s door the ramp door would open if I would close the hatchback in the back, hit the button the ramp door would open. so I took it to A & J Mobility in Crystal lake I’ll. Dave is by far one of the nicest man you’ll ever wanna work with. Ricky is the one that figured out what the problem. it was a corroded wire. I don’t know why they couldn’t figure that out at Mobility Works, but instead of driving an hour and five minutes one way to Mobility Works I will be coming to Crystal Lake for as long as I own this van because those guys over there are amazing.
