A&J opened its doors on September 15th, 1975, and we’ve been owned by the same family ever since — more than 50 years of making the right solution for the right person possible. What started as one Wisconsin shop is now six locations across Wisconsin and Illinois, including our newest facility in Crystal Lake, IL, plus a commercial division serving schools, transit operators and businesses across both states. We’re still growing — our team, our offerings and our footprint.
The work here is different. We’re a full-service shop and mobility dealer working with Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Toyota and Honda platforms and conversion partners like BraunAbility — which means our technicians handle everything from brakes and diagnostics to wheelchair ramps, lifts and electronic driving controls. We recondition vehicles on-site at our in-house body/paint shop and full-service facility, so anything that leaves our shop is something you can be proud of.
New to the mobility industry? That’s true of most people who join us. If you bring the mechanical foundation or the people skills, we’ll train the mobility side — including factory certification through our partners.
