Champion was one of the initial manufacturers to submit a cutaway bus to go through durability testing at the Federal Transit Authority’s Altoona, PA testing facility. Also, Champion tests all buses on a synthetic Altoona test track at the manufacturing facility.
Champion was also the very first manufacturer to become QVM certified by Ford Motor Company. Champion is among the most extensive custom commercial bus manufacturers in the industry of small to mid-size buses. Champion often exceeds best practices for safety in the industry and is registered as ISO 9001:2008.
Champion proudly uses 1 ½” x 1 ½”, 16-gauge tubular caged galvanized steel on every bus, making them some of the safest and most durable buses in the industry.
