It's November, and that means Thanksgiving is coming up. This month we are going to feature some great sides and desserts for Thanksgiving Day. This week is an easy and delicious dessert. We love this recipe because it is great to make ahead.
1 yellow cake mix
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 can sweetened condensed milk
8 oz milk chocolate toffee bits
4 oz pecans
Mix the cake mix, one egg, and butter. Pat crust into a greased pan. Combine condensed milk, one egg, vanilla, toffee bits, and pecans. Pour evenly over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately "run" a knife around the edges of the pan. Cool and cut into bars (usually about 20).
