This is a great Thanksgiving recipe. This killer side is melty, gooey, and oh so cheesy, plus this recipe reheats exceptionally well. Expect this one to go fast.


  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 10.5 oz. can of cream of chicken soup
  • 4 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 32 oz. frozen hash browns
  • 24 oz. cheddar brick cheese shredded


  1. In a large bowl combine ingredients, except 8 oz. of cheese
  2. Pour into non-greased 13x9 baking dish
  3. Bake covered 40 minutes at 350 degrees
  4. Remove from oven and top with remaining 8 oz. of cheese
  5. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes or until cheese is nicely melted
  6. Enjoy!
