From our Family to Yours: Seared Scallops
It's Mother's Day and so that deserves something special. Seared scallops are quick, easy, and sure to impress. Serve these with a potato, or even as an appetizer to the main course. Heat a pan to medium-high heat. Place 2 tsp of olive oil in the pan. Then place 1 tbsp in the pan until melted. Place scallops in the pan (season to taste). After 2 minutes, flip. Cook for an additional 2 minutes and serve hot.
Note: Cook times may vary based on your stove and your preference. If they taste rubbery, they are over-cooked.
